MY STORY
I began my pottery journey in late 2022, as the world emerged from the challenges of COVID-19. Seeking a creative outlet, I decided to pursue a lifelong curiosity about working with clay. As a child, I had fond memories of playing with clay and experiencing its tactile joy. A few classes in London rekindled that passion, and a visit to a pottery studio during a trip to see my mother in India solidified my love for ceramics.
In 2023, I took a leap of faith and left my full-time job to dedicate myself to pottery. I studied Ceramics for seven months. The year that followed was one of learning, traveling, and immersing myself in this craft. On returning home to the UK, I moved to Bristol, where I found a wonderful studio community that continues to inspire me daily. This year, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of The Great Pottery Throw Down, an experience that has further enriched my creative journey.
Pottery has become more than just a hobby—it is now my way of life, allowing me to explore artistry, connect with others, and grow as a maker. Thank you for following my pottery journey and being a part of this incredible adventure! Your support means the world to me.
